A recent Nielsen study proved what we already all knew. If you’re online, you’re most likely spending time blogging, tweeting or commenting on a friend’s drunken Facebook photo.
The study found that people spent 22 percent of their time social networking. It also found that a third of the world is using social media, and that number has increased 24 percent from last year.

Chatroulette Creator Honored At Webby Awards

Although there are creeps, geeks and weirdos that do some random things (some of them obscene) on Chatroulette, the site is still considered by many as a great social networking tool.
Chatroulette.com earned a Webby Award Monday night in Manhattan. Andrey Ternovskiy, the 17-year-old founder of the site, was given the “Breakout of the Year” award. (Even though his speech was 5 words that you could hardly understand, I’m certain he was glad that he won).
