BIG BAG BIG BOOM - the new wall-painted animation by BLU from blu on Vimeo.

“BIG BANG BIG BOOM” — BLU’s stop-motion graffiti masterpiece

Written by

Comments: --

Continuing with today’s Big Bang theme, we turn to a ten-minute animated video by BLU, the famous Italian street artist.

After 11 hours and five minutes, Isner finally brought home the win late Thursday night, along with blistered pinky toes, a sore shoulder, and some sizeable pit stains.

Ode To MIDI: The Story Of A File Format That Just Wouldn’t Die

Written by

Comments: --

Put a quarter into any old Galaga machine (or better yet, play it online) and those nostalgic 25 notes play the same tune Namco programmed into the arcade ROM in 1981. What Namco probably didn’t know then is that countless fans would later immortalized that fuzzy Star-Wars-wannabe theme in MIDI form.
