These ad posters for Shrek Forever After are gorgeous and perplexing.

I say perplexing because, I mean, what kind of ordinary Shrek fan is going to give half-a-shit about some wicked cool high concept faux-propaganda posters?

So, OK StruckAxiom — you’ve got my attention. What the hell’s your deal?  I went to their about page to find out and didn’t really see an answer:

We spent a while (longer than we’d care to admit, really) thinking about what we are. An agency? A studio? Interactives? Advertisers? Thinkers? Doers? Believers? And, after a while, we came to a conclusion: “What?” is the wrong question. We realized that the real question is “Why?”

So, why do we do what we do? We build and create brands because we believe in making things greater than they are.

It’s about that simple. We practice the philosophy of Greater Than. We distinguish between good and great. And it shows in everything we do.

That’s seriously the entirety of their about page. So I googled “ogre army shrek” to see what they were turning from Good into Great and this is what I found:

Totally Greater Than.

Don’t know why the Shrek folks approached you guys, or who’s idea this was originally, but I love the final results.
