Richard Branson announces commercial space travel within 18 months
How many of us put glow-in-the-dark stars on our bedroom ceiling or dressed up in a space customs for Halloween? We dreamed of reaching the stars and exploring other planets, but that rocket crashed with reality. Bet you’re not a cowboy either.
But for those of us who secretly held onto the dream of astronomical adventures, we may be in luck. Skip the training and catch a ride with Virgin Galactic on the world’s first commercial spacecraft.
According to the AP:
“Billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson said Monday that Virgin Galactic is on track to offer commercial space travel within 18 months, and that space hotels are next on the drawing board.”
All you need is $200,000 and the patience to wait behind the 330 people who have already secured their seats. Should be easy. You’ve already waited this long.
